Drawing Of My Hero Academia
The My Hero Academia anime, known in Japan as Boku no Hero Academia (僕のヒーローアカデミア), is an ongoing Japanese superhero anime series based on Kohei Horikoshi's manga of the same name. The show was first released on April 3, 2016, on the NTV (Nippon Television) network in Japan. As of December 2018, the first season aired for 25 episodes.
My Hero Academia Plot
My Hero Academia centers around Izuku Midoriya, a boy born without superpowers in a world where they are the norm. He dreams of one day becoming a great hero like his idol All Might despite being bullied by his classmates for not having a quirk. After a chance encounter with All Might at the U.A. High School training grounds, he ends up inheriting his powers and enrolls in the prestigious school for heroes to learn how to control them. However, he must keep his newfound powers a secret from his classmates because they are not allowed to use their quirks without proper licenses and U.A. has an 80% failure rate on entrance exams! In addition to dealing with classes and bullies, the show also deals with the consequences of having superpowers and how they affect society as a whole.
How popular is My Hero Academia?
My Hero Academia has been a hit with critics and audiences alike. The manga has sold over 16 million copies worldwide as of August 2018, which resulted in it being the 8th best selling manga series of 2017. It has also won the Manga Taisho Award, which is given to manga that are popular with both readers and critics, twice: once in 2017 and again in 2018. The show is also highly popular with fans, which is shown by its ever-growing popularity. In addition, many people have praised the show for its character development and its ability to keep viewers invested in the show's main story.

List of filler episodes for My Hero Academia in chronological order – Learn if it is worth watching
Episode 30: Climax
After the battle, Tenya is seen in the hospital, alongside Izuku and Shoto. In Recovery Girl's office, she comments on how Hero Killer: Stain has tried to kill both Tenya and Izuku. While she tells them to stay in the room for a while longer, she firmly adds that they are both fine before leaving.
Izuku comments that he can't believe Tenya had to go through such an ordeal because of him, but Tenya easily brushes it off.
He explains that Tensei told him that he should become a Hero for his own reasons and not for anyone else and because of this advice, Tenya has decided to follow his father's lead and become a hero so he can save someone in need. I'm sure he'll make a great hero!
He was also the only one who took a direct hit from Stain. His Quirk Overhaul is now more powerful and can be used without any of its previous side effects, such as sacrificing his own health. The effects are so great that even Tensei is impressed with the improvements.
Tenya's abilities are utilized when he rushes to help Izuku during the Hero Killer Arc, though he quickly loses his nerve when he realizes Stain is there as well. Tenya stays at Izuku's side during Recovery Girl's treatment of his injuries from his battle with Katsuki Bakugoa fact that Izuku is horrified by.
This episode is probably the most maligned one because it is a filler episode, but some fans don't really consider it as such.
It's more like a side story that runs alongside the main plot rather than an actual filler episode. It's also used to give Tenya a chance to shine. In this episode, Tenya is given a chance to utilize his new Quirk Overhaul in combat against Stain and it actually works quite well for him despite being slightly underwhelming compared to Deku and All Might.
He was able to hold his own against Stain for quite some time and even managed to break his sword with repeated use of Recipro Burst.
Episode 34: Gear up for the Final Exams
Midnight and Mt. Lady continue their public debate on TV, and Midnight claims that her early years of fame were the result of sexual appeal. This upsets Mt. Lady, who gets into a fight with Midnight over their respective ages. Minoru is watching the show with the TV crew and they comment on how he's been cheering on Mt. Lady all show long. Minoru explains that he only likes heroes that act cool, and he believes a hero should act like such even in private life. He then makes up his own "fanservice" scenario between his fictional heroines, causing the crew to comment on his lecherous personality. Just then, Midnight's mother calls her to tell her she has a guest.
Meanwhile, Izuku and Shoto are in the middle of studying for finals, but Shoto's attempt at studying is quickly ruined by his sister Mei. Izuku tries to tell Mei to go to her room so that Shoto can study, but Mei is not impressed and tells Izuku that he should take a break as well. The phone rings and Izuku answers it to find Momo on the other end asking him if he's free to study with her for finals. She says she has already asked Eijiro and Fumikage, who agreed immediately. Midoriya then lets Shoto know about the study session until Denki pulls the phone out of his hands mid-sentence. Denki asks Izuku to study together with him and Mina, and the two of them unsuccessfully try to convince Izuku to come with them.
Back at her apartment, Mt. Lady's mother is talking with her guest, who is none other than Mr. Compress's sister, Black Widow. Her mother tells her that she has been worried ever since Mt. Lady started going out in costume, but Black Widow says that she shouldn't worry as she is merely there to talk about work. She asks if Mt. Lady has heard about the League of Villains' recent activities and asks if they have any information on it. Mt. Lady says she hasn't heard anything about it and asks what they've been doing lately. Black Widow explains that in the wake of Stain's downfall, the League has been in turmoil, and their former leader has gone missing. She then asks Mt. Lady to join the Hero team that is going after the villains.
This episode is a filler because the anime's plot has caught up to the manga, and this episode was used to give characters their screen time while the manga was being worked on.
Episode 39: Game Start
Izuku, Denki, and Minoru arrive at the pool. Denki puts on a pair of swim goggles and accidentally electrocutes himself. Izuku warns him not to touch the water because he will shock himself. However, Minoru is too busy trying to flirt with girls to pay attention. Suddenly, a girl in a swimsuit approaches them. Izuku thinks that she is coming to ask him on a date, but she only came over to say hi to Denki. The girl asks if they have seen Katsuki Bakugo around and then leaves.
As Denki looks on enviously at the girls in their swimsuits, Izuku thinks back to his training with Gran Torino and All Might's teaching, that true strength is not about making yourself look strong but to protect what is important to you. Suddenly, Katsuki shows up and asks if he has seen Izuku. Izuku says that he just saw him in the pool but he left. Katsuki decides to go home instead. As he walks away, Denki notices that his hands are shaking and wonders what could have happened to him.
At the U.A. High School training camp, Shota explains that they will not be training in their usual Meta-Human classes because they will be focusing on normal physical training this time around in order to improve their physical strength and endurance. However, they will still have a few simulated battles against professional Heroes for the students who want them.
Izuku and his classmates attend an orientation meeting. Present are Shota Aizawa, Eraserhead, Midnight, Gunhead, Ingenium, Thirteen. Eraserhead arrives and tells the students that they will be undergoing a training camp to work on their physical strength. He warns them that this training will be more intense than what they are used to and tells them not to slack off. Shota explains that the training camp is for them to learn how to fight in a real battle and not just against villains but also against other heroes who might want to take advantage of their powers in order to win an upcoming battle.
This is a filler episode as the training camp is not part of the main plot.
This episode covers the first day of the U.A. High School Training Camp. Present are Eri and Shota Aizawa, Midnight, Gunhead, Ingenium, Thirteen and Eraserhead.
The episode starts with a recap on Izuku's battle with Katsuki Bakugo during the U.A. Sports Festival, where Izuku activates One For All at 100% and defeats Katsuki, winning 1st place in the event. This is followed by Izuku telling his classmates that he got into U.A's Hero Department and they are going to take a training camp that will be led by All Might.
Episode 40: Wild, Wild Pussycats
After Shota gives up trying to keep order, he mentions that they're almost to their destination. The students excitedly get off the bus and head into the forest. Shota reminds them to be careful of their surroundings and reminds them they must not lose sight of their original goal and must not lose. Izuku is excited for training camp and remembers his encounter with All Might in the forest after he got his quirk. Katsuki then boasts about how he's better than Izuku since he won't have to attend training camp due to him getting a perfect score on his End of Term Test, but the class quickly deflate him for being too confident about it. Eijiro says Katsuki will fail the practical portion of the test. Katsuki says he won't fail and vows to return to U.A. High School next semester as a top student.
The students are given a brief moment to rest before they're assigned their training regimen by their homeroom teacher. While some of the students are excited for the training, others are annoyed with it since they don't have any idea what they're doing and they cannot ask questions until after their purification rite is complete. Shota tells them that the purification rite allows them to get accustomed to the natural elements and also reminds them not to leave their assigned campsite or else they will be expelled from camp and must repeat the school year. The students all head off for their rites except Izuku, who Shota asks to stay behind for a moment.
This is a filler episode as they will be doing different activities for the next few episodes.
