How To Draw King Caesar

Spoilers for Godzilla Singular Point.

So GSP took it upon itself to make Jet Jaguar the heroic protagonist giant after decades of neglect.

The series also didn't bother reintroducing the most overexposed Godzilla foes besides Rodan (who is highly reimagined anyway), and besides a late reference and a post-credits cameo.

Not even counting the ending credits, the series also had pretty much all the other Showa Godzilla monsters showing up in one way or another: Anguirus is here, Manda has Ebirah's legs, Salunga is a fusion of Gabara and Baragon, Godzilla takes forms similar to Titanosaurus, Varan, and Gorosaurus, and Kumonga has elements of Megalon, Hedorah, and it's debatable wether the ones with the scythes are a reference to Kamacuras, Gigan, or both.

There is, however, ONE kaiju from a Showa Godzilla movie that was completely, unambiguously absent:

If Singular Point gets a second season (or a new series a la SSSS_Dynazenon), King Caesar could totaly get the Jet Jaguar treatement, ESPECIALLY if the later isn't coming back.

Some ideas I have for the Kiryu arc:

Soo, just putting this here as I just brainstorm a bunch of ideas I have for Kiryu in this AU I'm kicking off now.

Kiryu would be piloted like the Jaegers from Pacific Rim

Once Dagon takes control of Kiryu, he'd likely be trying to desperately find his mate and Goji.

Like Akane in the Kiryu saga, the pilots (I am yet to make them actual characters) will come to understand Dagon.

Dagon might try to protect the infant Gojiras from Titanosaurus (Not knowing she's trying to do the same but with him)

Godzilla likely would never know Kiryu was Dagon, but he would feel it.

Kiryu would return in a Terror of MechaGodzilla type film, where MONARCH and TCTF would rebuild Kiryu and override Dagon's conscious with an A.I.

Alan Jonah's team of terrorists would hack the A.I. and turn it Malicious, but far more malicious than they ever planned.

Kiryu would go on several rampages and massacres across the World, killing innocent titans, destroying human civilization with Dagon being fully conscious as he watches what the A.I. does.

At the end of the chapter, Kiryu will once again nearly kill Godzilla, along with any allies that might be present (Thinking Anguirus, King Caesar and Titano.), Dagon would take back control and fly Kiryu into the ocean, he will stab his chest, triggering the Absolute Zero Cannon and cause himself to explode, saving humanity and titankind.

Godzilla's encounters with Kiryu might heavily taint his relationship with mankind. Turning it from mutual respect to slowly but surely building hatred.

KING CAESAR

This is the entry for our favorite Okinawan kaiju from The Official Godzilla Compendium.

The book was published in 1998. Since then, many people have begun spelling this kaiju's name as "Seesar," which is closer to the the word shisa. Shisa are guardian lion dogs from Okinawa mythology, similar to the Chinese guardian lions and Japanese komainu.

Frankly, this guy doesn't care what you call him, along as it's not "Darlene" (the name of the girl he liked in 8th grade who broke his heart).
